Overview
Last year, the 2030 Agenda - SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) reached its halfway point.
In order to accelerate the SDG process and strengthen cooperation, the UN Future Summit was held in September 2024, and the Japanese government will conduct its third Voluntary National Review (VNR) in 2025.
The remaining six years until 2030 will be designated as the “Six Years of Action and Change” to stimulate discussion from Japanese society toward the realization of a sustainable society. Therefore, we have initiated a process to discuss issues of the international community for the future in order to conduct the Voluntary Youth Review (VYR).
