SDGs Youth Summit
The SDGs Youth Summit is an event where JYPS shares its activities and challenges in achieving the SDGs with youth in Japan, fostering opinions and encouraging solidarity among youth. The event is usually held in the summer, and participants exchange views through panel discussions and networking opportunities.

SDGs Youth Forum
In 2023, the SDG Youth Summit was preceded with four online webinars. Each featured speakers from a different sector, and included a panel discussion among participants on how youth can contribute to the achievement of the SDGs. Panelists included members from IGES, Toyota Motor Corporation, NPO directors, and active members of youth organizations, prompting fruitful discussions.

SDGs 実施指針改定に伴うイベント
「#私たちが創るこれからのSDGs」
2023年11月に、SDGs実施指針改訂においてパブリックコメントを通してユースの声を反映させる事を目的にオンラインイベントを開催しました。イベントを通して、どのようなSDGs達成への課題があり、SDGsの範疇から漏れている社会課題について議論しました。選挙以外にも国民の意見を表明し、反映させるように働きかける方法を普及啓発しました。

Atumare JYPS no Mori
“Atumare JYPS no Mori” is an event aimed at connecting youth striving for a sustainable society, fostering learning, and generating new initiatives. Each session features a youth organization, providing opportunities to share diverse perspectives through their activity introductions and discussions.

Pioneers for a New Era
In order to make the remaining six years until 2030 “Six Years of Action and Change” and to stimulate discussion from Japanese society toward the realization of a sustainable society, we conducted a process to discuss issues of the international community for the future with the project executive committee members from February to September 2024 under the title of “Pioneers for a New Era” (Voluntary Youth Review/VYR). (VYR), a process to discuss issues of the international community for the future. We conducted interviews, questionnaires, and collected opinions at events to complete the “Analysis of Japan's Achievement of the SDGs from a Youth Perspective.
